CF Indicator™ Sweat Test System

PolyChrome Medical, Inc. has a proud history of providing the most accurate, rapid and cost effect qualitative chloride sweat test available in the marketplace.  The test is used in screening for cystic fibrosis.  It is the number one  test used worldwide.  The CF Indicator™ Sweat Test System uses pilocarpine iontophoresis for sweat stimulation.  The stimulator was originally designed and engineered by Medtronic.  A chloride concentration test patch, developed at the University of Minnesota, is used to collect and analyze the sweat.  The system is completely portable and does not require any additional laboratory equipment or processes.
